Day three....rain rain.snow?

We woke up to a gloomy sky again today, and decided to check the weather, and drive to the sun. The only streak of clear sky ran north of our location, so we did a quick look at the Banff springs hotel, Bow falls, and Johnsons's canyon before heading north to escape the rain. we burned up the Icefield Parkway, and headed east to Rocky Mountain House. The rain is headed this way, and it is engulfing every point of the map that I was interested in going to. Just the rain is not the end of the world, but temps are dipping below freezing at night. this may spell the end, as camping in the snow is not my idea of a good time. The balmy days and cool nights of September have abandoned us, and now I am faced with either staying out in wet misery, or going home to re-group, and hope it warms up a bit. I guess I'll sleep on it. Looking out the window as I type this, the rain is here now.... weather is sucking large.

  2. Don't head home now....so much more to see it can't rain forever?! If you can't camp no worries...be safe!
